A vintage meal that is destined to make it on to your current, easy favourites list. Serve over mashed potato and yam to soak up all the lovely sauce.

- 1, 700ml pouch of Wild About Shrooms soup
- Pork Chops
- Mushrooms, 4 to 5 large ones, thickly sliced
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sprinkle of Fresh Thyme
- 2 Tablespoons of Sherry *optional
Recipe Steps
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Melt butter in pan
- Brown mushrooms in hot pan, about 1 minute each side. Set mushrooms aside.
- Brown pork chops in hot pan, about 2 minutes each side.
- Add Wild About Shrooms soup to pork chops.
- Add a splash or two of sherry, optional but recommended.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Arrange sauteed mushrooms on top
- Sprinkle fresh thyme
- Bake uncovered at 350F for 35 minutes
Tip: If You prefer a thicker, more gravy like sauce, mix your preferred thickener or 1 teaspoon of corn starch, in with the soup before adding it to the chops.
