A vintage meal that is destined to make it on to your current, easy favourites list. Serve over mashed potato and yam to soak up all the lovely sauce.



  • 1, 700ml pouch of Wild About Shrooms soup
  • Pork Chops
  • Mushrooms, 4 to 5 large ones, thickly sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sprinkle of Fresh Thyme
  • 2 Tablespoons of Sherry *optional

Recipe Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Melt butter in pan
  3. Brown mushrooms in hot pan, about 1 minute each side. Set mushrooms aside.
  4. Brown pork chops in hot pan, about 2 minutes each side.
  5. Add Wild About Shrooms soup to pork chops.
  6. Add a splash or two of sherry, optional but recommended.
  7. Salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Arrange sauteed mushrooms on top
  9. Sprinkle fresh thyme
  10. Bake uncovered at 350F for 35 minutes

Tip: If You prefer a thicker, more gravy like sauce, mix your preferred thickener or 1 teaspoon of corn starch, in with the soup before adding it to the chops.
